XBOX 360 amazing

I just bought an XBOX 360 and it is amazing.  I got a good deal on it, Walmart had a limited sale last week, buy an XBOX 360 arcade @ $199 and get a free $100 gift card.  So it's like only paying $100 for an XBOX360.  I went to Walmart with my friend Neil on the morning of the sale at 5 am and waited in the lobby untill 8 am, when the sale started.  We were the first people in line. Luckily we decided to go to the Walmart in my hometown instead of going to the store in Lincoln. Lucky because we were the first people in line.  Walmart also had Laptops and LCD TVs on sale. It was an ealry before Thanksgiving day sale.  I was rewarded with the first XBOX they had, my buddy got the second, out of only three they had on hand.  The graphics are amazing.  I've been playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 all weekend.  Awesome first person shooter.  Awesome graphics, great cinema scenes, huge assortment of weapons.  Locations all over the world, from the U.S., Afganistan, Russia, Brazil, Antartica. The only gripe I have is that that game is too short, I already beat it, but it has good re-playability.  Going to have to play it on XBOX LIVE. Another good shooter I got was Battlefield Bad Company.  It's pretty comical.  It is fun to play, and has a lot of funny scenes and commentary in it.  Anyways, that's how I wasted my whole weekend, shooting at the enemy, and blowing stuff up.

Drive it untill the wheels fall off
Had a bad weekend.  My weekend is Wednesday though Friday, which in itself sucks. I went home to do laundry, and visit my mum, which is about 20 miles from where I live. On my way back to Lincoln, I heard a clunk clunk and bam, my front wheel passed me on the highway, flying 10 feet in the air, cross the highway and land in a corn field.  Then the front end dropped and the sparks started flying, just like on those police chase shows.  I was able to slow and pull off on the shoulder, the front end burried in the grass and dirt.  This was about 1 am Thurday morning.  On top of all things, it was raining.  Nothing heavy, just a light rain, but still.  It sucked.  The worst part is,  the only person I could really count on to get me out of a jam was my mum.  How embarrasing.  I called her up at 1 am to pick me up, even though she had to be to work at 8 am, she did it, and wasn't even mad.  Only a mother wouldn't get mad for calling at 1 in the morning.  Anyways, the next day I called a towtruck, and spent an hour looking for my wheel, in a muddy corn field, in the rain.  I found it ten rows of corn in, and 300 feeet from where I lost my wheel.  Looking down the highway, I could see where the rotor dug into the asphault.  I must have gone at least 100 feet before getting over to the shoulder.  Long story short, the most expensive part was the tow bill, $96.  I fixed all the damage myself, I refuse to have anyone else work on my vehicles. Parts were only $30. The wheel was fine, but I broke one wheel stud off completely. I replaced  all 5 wheel studs, and the lug nuts.  The rotor wasn't even messed up, just packed full of dirt and asphault. My fender is bent out, but I really dont care.  What a crappy weekend.  I spent most of it working on my car. I always said I would drive my Neon untill the wheels fell off.  Since one wheel fell off, it's time to look at getting something else to drive.  Maybe a pickup truck.

Movies in the barn
I finally got a Saturday night off from work, unpaid though.  How did I spend it you ask?  Even though you didn't, I'm going to tell you anyways.  I went back home, and watched scary movies in a barn, with a home theatre setup.  Above a dairy parlor to be exact.  The only bad thing is, it has rained all week, and the cow shit smelled really bad.  My friends brought out a digital projector, stereo reciever, and a bunch of speakers.  We  watched Decent and Shaun of the Dead.  Decent was a pretty good movie, and damn scary.  Shaun of the dead I could of done without seeing, complete waste of time. We need to find a barn that doesn't smell so damn bad, to project movies on a big screen.

Free stuff rocks
I just got a free guitar amp from a friend of mine, only one catch, it's supposed to be broken.  Guess I'm just going to have to buy a guitar, and learn to play, so I can test out this broken amp.  It's probably a more constructive hobby than playing Xbox I suppose.  That, and the fact that I live in an apartment complex, so wrenching on cars is out of the question. Thinking of maybe going with an Ibanez, since they are the most popular for playing heavy metal, which is the music I listen to most of the time.  Maybe I can find a new way to annoy the neigbors, with bad guitar playing instead of artillery, gunfire from my stereo.
